The position of Web developer is sometimes synonymous to software developer, application programmer, Web programmer or Web designer. A Web developer is and IT professional responsible for creating programs that run on the Internet. The applications he develops can be accessed by internal or external users or even both depending on the needs of the organization.
Some of the duties and responsibilities associated with a Web developer are online system design, application design, application coding, testing and maintaining the application after implementation. Aside from the technical skills, strong interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with different personalities from management, executive and technical staff up to end users. Proper documentation of all the project�s aspects is another skill not cannot be neglected.
