Excel is out in with ZK Spreadsheets

There used to be a when the only reliable and full-featured spreadsheet program around was Excel, but not anymore for Ajax based ZK Spreadsheets are going to allow developers to embed full featured spreadsheet functions in Java. The open-sourced community has been clamoring for a system that can challenge the dominance of Excel for quite sometime and they have at last done it with the addition of the said functionality to the many open-sourced systems.
Microsoft has also been challenged by Google docs which was one of the very first open-sourced spreadsheet programs around that not only rivaled Excel but the whole Microsoft Office suite that was again hit by the introduction of Open Office. Google docs got better and better that many have begun to take it on over the expensive office package which they had to pay for as their needs grew. Thanks to the Open community and the major companies that have sprouted to challenge their dominance, the doors have again opened to the community for further growth and this time with style.
